This week I needed to saw my piece of wood and mark my joint. After sawing it in half I just straightened the sides out so they were even. I completed the two legs and the bottom piece of my box. Mr Grundy then made a mark for where my joint would be so again I had to saw it up to his mark and that is where my joint would go in. When I go back I will have to chisel it out carefully so that I don't make a big mistake. Sawing is quite challenging when you first try it but then you get used to it the more you do it over and over.I am a Year 8 student at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 1 and my teacher is Mr Reid.
