Last Post Of The Year

This year has been an extreme pleasure to be in Room 10. There was drama, bad times and good times too! During the bad times we all supported one another and sorted it out, kind of. We argued quite a lot and tried to apologize, most of the time we were forgiven but sometimes we weren't. My favorite memory is probably  having hip hop with Jess. Hip hop is my favorite because we got to play games but at the same time learn some new dance moves. My worst memory from this year was probably MY DRAMA! The drama I faced was very frustrating and it put so much attention on me which I didn't really want.Miss Misela would always push me to reach a high standard even when I didn't want to. She would give us free time when deserved it and when we didn't deserve it we would not get it. I am going to miss her so much because of how funny and energetic she was. A few of us will move on to year 7 while the rest go to year 6. I am actually going to miss this class even if I don't show it. We will even be getting a new principle because our current principle Mrs Vickers is retiring.

The Special Girl

BOOM! “Ahhhhh” Kate shouted, as she sat up her head was pounding with a major headache. So this is Kate Miles, she is the daughter of the Dark queen and Tytus is her dad. When Kate was about five and a half her mum found out she had powers when a blue gorgeous light surrounded her in her sleep. As the blue was fading away something magical happened she was floating and her hair was curling and turning blue. Now Kate is 13, and her birthday was in August.  Her mother the Dark queen is trying to make her live the worst life because she has better powers than her mother but Kate wants to be a normal kid.

As Kate got up from her snuggly blue bed she thought about what she wanted to do “Hmmm” she thought. While she was thinking a cute blue bird flew to right onto her shoulder. “Hi Bluey” “Tweet Tweet” Bluey replied. Kate stood straight up changed her eyes to blue and did a small spin and it changed her into a black and blue ombre shirt with black ripped jeans. ZOOMMMM! Off she went to the kitchen because she was dying from starvation ( not actually but she was hungry). Clink, right in front of Kate was some slugs with worms and beetles with some gooey soup thingy. “Here EAT UP” her mum said angrily. Kate’s eyes turned orange to turn her gooey ewwy breakfast into a yummy delicious one. She turned it into a soft sweet stack on pancakes with some maple syrup dripping now the stack with blueberries on top. In a matter on minutes Kate was only able to eat two pancakes and was heading off to school.

As Kate was stepping foot into her new huge school. Kate sighed heavily and walked straight to the principal without talking to anyone. She got lost a couple of times but managed to get there in the end. “Hello Kate, welcome to Beverly Valley School!” She was so annoyed secretly but decided to give a fake smile because it was only her first day. Her first class was English so she flew with her green eyes and flew behind a tree near her class. BRINGGGGG! The bell went. “I’m already late?” she sped to her class and sat next to a girl named Annie. “Hi I’m Annie and you are?” “Me?” “Who else” “Oh I’m Kate, Kate Miles”. As Annie heard that one word Miles Annie got frightened because she heard about the history of her family. “I should get going Kate” while giving a scared fake smile. Kate thought to herself “Does she think I’m weird, or does she know about my family because her reaction turned from happy to blank once I told her my last name” Kate was sweating uncontrollably without even noticing when the her mum woke her up and said “ Kate get up it’s already 12 o’ clock! She sighed in relief and changed into that exact outfit she was in inside her dream. After breakfast Kate was taking a stroll and something came to her mind. “This place is so ewww, if I could I would change this because it looks so bad here”. “That's it!, my powers can change this from gooey and slimy to beautiful and blue!”

Meanwhile when Kate was thinking of a plan to beautify the place the queen was trying to make it look more than horrible like disgusting! After a while Kate finally made a plan and just as she was going into her room to change her outfit she saw her mum laughing evilly and was holding a potion. “Oh come on mum, again with the potions seriously this is why I don’t have friends no offense Bluey”. Birdy turned her her angrily but decided to forgive her because that’s what friends do. Eventually bluey went behind the dark queen and Kate signaled Bluey to tip the potion into the bin so Bluey did that. “OH MY GOBBLETOWN MY POTION! YOU BAD BIRD BAD! OUT NOW!”. Bluey sadly flew to Kate’s room and sat on her window miserable while Kate and her mum where screaming at each other. Afterwards Kate came to her room furious and decided to calm herself down by having a chat the her favourite animal Buey. “Oh Bluey I’m so sorry she’s like that I don’t understand why she is so mean, if I could I would stop her. Right before that conversation happened her mum was coming to apologize but decided to stick around and listen to what they were saying.  

Fiercely she slammed the door open and Bluey and Kate went silent “YOU THINK I’M MEAN I WILL SHOW YOU MEAN!”. The dark queen’s eye turned pitch black like the night and some black magic was rising from her hands. “STOP!” “Oh what now child can’t you see i’m in the middle of something?” “I mean yea but Bluey is my pet and you need to respect that, just take it out on me I told her to pour the spell into the bin”. “How could you, my own tears and blood betrayed me!” Her mum was real ready to his someone in the face but decided to take a nap because she was getting quite cranky. Instantly she used her flying powers to get out her window but her hair got caught in a branch. Eventually she was able to get her hair out of the branch and did a big spell that changed the whole town into a beautiful blue kingdom. She decided to call it Royale Blue.

It was around evening and so she decided to do something that the whole kingdom would appreciate stopping the queen from doing any bad magic. She snuck into her mom's room as quiet as a mouse and then within 10 seconds her mum shrunk her then gently put her into a jar and kept it locked until she outgrew the jar. Now she is 26 and is the new queen of Royale Blue, everyone in the village has never been hurt since the evil queen was thrown into the water and is now living a good life. Kate has provided more food, schools, shops, and hospitals for people who are ill. I forgot to tell you that before the evil queen outgrew her jar Kate removed every single power she had and thrown it far far far away. She is trapped inside a cage underwater for good and Kate has a 2 year old son, she named him Tytus because that was the name of her father.

Fun On My Birthday

In the holidays on my birthday I went to Jump with trampolines and a restaurant called Odhee Brothers. I went with my cousins, my brother Dakbai, Liza and Mary.

At Jump we had to pay $18.50 each. It was actually $16 each and $2.50 for the socks so I just used a $20. After looking helpless for 3 minutes we finally got our socks. It was a vibrant purple colour and the bottom of it was bright yellow and bumpy. As we were about to go in we got stopped because we needed a wrist band. Mine was just plain red like the rest of ours to notify us of our time limit. Once it was our turn I ran to the pit, swung on the long itchy rope and in I went. It was quite difficult to get out of the pit because my socks were sliding off. Out the soft pit I went and did a few high jumps on the trampoline. Off I was straight to the dodge ball area!

Mary, Liza, my cousin Angelina and I played dodge ball for a bit. Bit by bit we started to get lazier and lazier so we just bought a refreshing slushy. I got the gloomiest of gloom the purple berry drink. I was so eager to drink more but I went back to the trampolines. Bloop! I fell on my bottom uncontrollably laughing, feeling so silly. Minutes passed and we had to get off because it was time for the green wrist band people to have a turn.

On our way to the restaurant we could smell the delicious fast foods. I was so determined to have Nando's but picked Odhee Brothers because I knew it was going to be the only time I got to go there. Joyfully I ordered a sprite and the beef burger with a side of fries. Twenty minutes went by slowly then finally we got our food. The food was very fresh and nice, but the meat was my favorite because it was tender and juicy.

After dinner I was surprised with a small chocolate cake. Since I was extremely stuffed I kept it for home. Once I got to my warm and cozy house I slept in my warm bed with a fluffy blanket and it was so peaceful.

Achieved Or Not?

I have accomplished my writing goal, because now I am able to work independently and write paragraphs in a period of time. For my reading goal I achieved it because now I am starting to become more encouraging towards my group. Lastly I have achieved half of my maths goal, because I participate in activities but need to help others more often.

A Time I Worked Hard To Achieve Something

A time I worked very hard to achieve my goal was yesterday on Sunday night at home. My goal was to get my brothers phone so I could play games on it because it has good quality before my other brother did.

To distract him I turned the T.V onto a very boring channel, even I was bored so then slowly he started closing his eyes. So I grabbed a blanket as quiet as a mouse and put it on him so he could fall asleep and not wake up. I had to try move him over but that didn't work, so I tried slipping out his phone out but that sure didn't work. I finally tried pulling the charger and he almost woke up so that was pretty bad. Both me and my brother wanted it, so we decided that it was first to get it got to play on it. We pushed and shoved and almost made each other fall on him but thank goodness we didn't.

My mum started falling asleep because we turned it back to transformers after he fell asleep. Then when my mum closed her eyes we fought sweat and blood just for a phone like seriously, well it was that important to us because we barley get a turn on it because he always says we give it back to him when it's dead (actually we do). Every time my brother tried he would fail but I finally came up with an idea. It was the simplest way and he would probably say yes because he is tired....asking.

I shook my big brother until he woke up and asked him quietly "can I play on your phone" and one answer came back it was "okay". I jumped with joy and pulled it out just before he fell back asleep. I took it off the charger and started playing roblox. I played games like Bloxburg, Roblox High school and a few more games. After that it was about to die so I quickly played one last game then finally....it died, my life felt like it was over just because it died and I was enjoying it.

I put it back on the charger and went back to sleep because school was the next day. My suggestion to you is play roblox and beg your less strict parent to buy you robux so you can unlock Bloxburg because it is so cool.

Reflections:

I did achieve my reading goals because now my voice is starting to express louder and now people are able to hear me while in my group. I achieved my maths goal because now I am starting to get clearer while speaking so others can understand my strategy. I have achieved my writing goals because when I  focus I write longer and it describes my subject more.

The Time I Saved Everyone From A Disease

Hello my name is Agueer and I will be sharing a story about when I saved everyone from a disease. It was back in 1952 when it all started...

Recognising
So it was a sunny day and was walking down the street and I just pasted the hospital in the south of Miami. Just when I walked all the way past the hospital this man coughed. The more I was passing people the more I would hear coughs. Then I turned around looking directly at the hospital and saw all those people walking into the hospital. I went back and into the hospital and saw an old woman in a room lying on the bed. I was about to walk away when I overheard the doctor and the old woman's conversation, he said to her "Vanessa you have Homorphomia cancer just like most of the people here and if you know anyone who has been coughing a lot send them here" Vanessa replied saying "There are a couple of people I know who cough a lot". After their conversation I got out of the hospital and walked to a shop and had some pepperoni pizza.

The Search
When I arrived home I searched up different types of cancer and found the exact one the doctor was talking about, it read "Hormophomia Cancer, Homorphomia cancer is a very spread able cancer. When you get Homorphomia you cough a lot and if you don't get checked out straight away you may die". I said "I have to help them even if it doesn't work well at least I tried" so I planned something for 6 weeks and that week on Thursday was the day I did it. During my planning time I made this potion it was made from blackberries grass and fish, so first what I did was I went near that hospital ad took a plant out from under my arm and a woman coughed on it then I went home and went to my backyard. I simply squeezed a few drops of the potion into the plant and then five seconds later... I became a miracle worker. It felt good to help the plants so I took it in the next day.

The Blessing
The next day I took it in and saw a doctor named Kylie, she was very supportive and asked me to show her, when I showed her the experiment she said "Wow I will let you work on Miss Smith" "who's Miss Smith" "she is the old lady in ward 2 number 12" so I went to her room. She was asleep and the doctors told me "Go on do your thing" then I shot the needle in her. She woke up and jumped out of her room joyfully and we all cheered. So after I shot every patient I was rewarded with a $500,000 shopping spree, I was so blessed that day and also my budget is still going even after 3 years it is at $200,000.

TOI TOI Once Again!

Yesterday the people from Toi Toi came to our school. They came because Konzay's story got published in the new book, Konzay's story was about his friend Dominic. Konzay talked about how he was a good friend to him and how much he missed him. His story was called "My Friend Dominic"

First when they arrived they introduced themselves, then straight after that Konzay got up and read his story to room 10 and 9. It was really nice to hear what he had to say about Dominic. The best part about his reading was talking about how Dominic liked reading his bible and how he would never give up and how he would tell others no matter how imperfect they were that they could do it, and to be honest that is what good friends do. After he read his story they awarded him with the book for himself. Later on  we split into our groups and went to either room 9 10 or stayed in 11.

I was in a group with Fabian, Reality, Uinita, Sonny, Jamayne and I forgot our leaders name but she was a woman. She was really nice and let us all pick our story by flicking through and whatever we stopped at we would read it. I read Blue Wings I think that's what it's called. My story was talking about blue things like the sea, and the sky. Everyone in my group tried their best to solve out the words and if they got it wrong someone in  our group would help them say it properly.

After like 25 minutes it was time to finish up. We read one last story and just got to fit in a little game. The game was kind of like pictionary but we didn't have to guess it. It was really fun reading with the Toi Toi people and I would like them to come back.

After reading with them I felt happy and focused to read more stories. It was really good how they encouraged us to sound out the words we needed to work on. My message for you all is to keep up your reading and don't give up if you fail the first time.
